Product Manager

Bunchball is seeking a rock star Product Manager to join our Products group in Redwood Shores, CA.

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, privately held company that is the leader in the Gamification market, serving marquee clients such as Comcast/ NBCU, MTV, Warner Brothers, CBS Interactive, MySpace, LiveOps, ABC Family, HopeLab among many others.

At Bunchball we work with Enterprise clients, Media Companies, Web Publishers, Brands and Interactive Agencies to transform the way these organizations communicate with their customers, fans and/or employees. Our SaaS based software platform and integrations into leading products such as Jive, Salesforce.com, and IBM, provide clients with the technology and expertise to create engaging experiences that reward user behavior through the use of contextually relevant game mechanics.

What you get to do every day:

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, working with designers, developers, and quality engineers to bring those features and capabilities to life

  • Understand user and business needs and create a positive user experience, ensuring maximum benefit to both the user and business

  • Prioritize and manage development efforts - identify interdependencies, anticipate bottlenecks, and manage trade-offs to ensure the most efficient use of resources

  • Build consensus on strategic, design, and technical decisions to ensure high quality deliverables

  • Serve as the focal point between the business and the product development team - enabling effective teamwork, building consensus, and facilitating communication and collaboration across multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.

What you bring to the role:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a Product Manager for a technology company with a track record of shipping quality products in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly technical background; you can speak like an engineer and aren't afraid to code from time-to-time

  • Passion for designing and building simple and intuitive user experiences

  • Hands on, passionate, creative, and easy to deal with. You are a doer first, and thrive in a fast moving environment with a heavy dose of ambiguity.

  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects at the same time

  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and excellent problem solving skills is a must

  • BS in Computer Science or related field
