Client goal: Differentiate Meredith's Better Recipes community from other online recipe websites. 

Solution: Using personalization and rewards, Bunchball and Meredith worked together to create a unique experience for visitors of BetterRecipes.com. Users earned "kitchen bucks" by taking part in activities like posting recipes, editing existing ones and rating recipes from other site members. Consumers could design their own virtual dream kitchen using their "kitchen bucks" and preview how various products would look like within their space. "Recipes Clubs" let participants create and/or join teams to compete together and rise up the leaderboard. Kitchen Bucks could also be used toward personalization of your identity on Better Recipes, with an avatar for which you could purchase virtual goods.
