Client goal: Drive awareness for Right Guard's Total Defense 5 anti-perspirant product, targeted at young adults, by leveraging their sponsorship with the NBA Playoffs and NBA.com and tapping into their digital media assets.
Solution: The TotalDMVP microsite was built within Facebook, and encouraged players to challenge friends "head-to-head" within their social circle with online sports trivia and mini casual games. The microsite was connected to, and sent players on missions to, NBA.com, Rightguard.com and Right Guard's Facebook page. Earned points could be used to dress up a player's avatar and locker room with NBA gear. Players can also use Bunchball's SocialLink technology to brag about their wins to their social media circle.
